I nearly sent flowers to the hospital upon hearing word of the birth of your second child. I’d planned to enclose a sweet note that said: “When you’re ready to get your body back, call me.” But I honestly didn’t want to seem “THAT” Hollywood—you know…the trainer looking for a new celebrity client. Not that celebrity clients have eluded me. When casting asked me to come in as Paris Hilton’s trainer on the last season of “The Simple Life,” I balked. Not that I dislike Paris, but—well—she’s no BRITNEY.

“In view of the substance and significance of the fundamental constitutional right to form a family relationship, the California Constitution properly must be interpreted to guarantee this basic civil right to all Californians, whether gay or heterosexual, and to same-sex couples as well as to opposite-sex couples,” wrote Chief Justice Ronald M. George, for the majority.

The decision becomes effective in 30 days, and immediately thereafter, on Monday, June 16th, Bronson and I will be on our way to Pasadena City Hall, to get legally married.

PLL:  FOR THE UNINITIATED, YOGA CAN SEEM MYSTERIOUS AND DIFFICULT. Some people say they “just don’t get it” or were frustrated that they couldn’t keep pace… What do you say to them?”

I’m breastfeeding my newborn but want to get back into shape. I’ve heard that I shouldn’t lose more than a pound per week or toxins can go into my breast milk. Is this true? —Amanda, Eagle Rock, CA

Sam Page Fitness associate and founder of Maternabliss, ILONA, responds:

“Your body is continually metabolizing and excreting toxins, regardless of dieting. Some of these toxins do indeed get passed through to your baby while breast feeding, along with many powerful GOOD antibodies (that protect your baby’s immune system) as well.

The idea of not losing more than 1lb per week is a good guideline. However, it is just that: a guideline. Unless you are doing extreme dieting, which can cause a significantly increased amount of toxins to be passed along to your baby during breast feeding, I would not worry about this too much.
