How to Make a Smoothie
Outside Smoothie King, Hollywood Calif.
1 handful frozen strawberries
1 handful frozen blueberries
1 2/3 cups of fresh orange juice or soy milk
1 scoop vanilla flavored whey protein
1 frozen banana
1 packet Splenda (optional)
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. For additional calories, you can add a little flax seed oil or all-natural peanut butter. Makes 1 large serving, or 2 moderate servings. Great for a meal replacement or for post-workout protein.
By the way, if you are one of those people who buys bananas and they go bad before you have a chance to eat them, try peeling them first and then putting them inside your freezer in a zip storage bag. They make the perfect addition to smoothies and a great snack.

Hey Sam, would these work a a protein shake replacement on the zig zag plan. I’m getting tired of the chocolate shakes from Costco…

And if you forget to have your daily smoothie during the daylight hours, a shot of voddie or ginnie makes your smoothie a terrific…
Smoochie! And remember, if it’s the weekend and you want to share a great drink with your honey before the sun goes down, “It’s dark under the porch!”

Sea-Fell: Yes, it would be OK as a post-weight training smoothie or as a meal replacement on your “cheat” days (only).
For alternatives to the pre-made chocolate shakes you mentioned, you may also want to explore the following pre-made shakes:
-Advantage Shake (Atkins) in chocolate and vanilla
-Pure Protein Shake (in cookies and cream, chocolate, vanilla).
-Slim Fast Low Carb (chocolate & vanilla)
