Organic, Homemade Almond Milk
Here’s a recipe for REAL almond milk from my mom’s kitchen in Utah. Best of all, there’s no “evaporated cane juice” or added junk.
Ingredients
1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
3 pitted dates
Pinch of sea salt
3 cups water
Directions
Combine almonds, pitted dates, salt and water in a blender and blend on high for 2 minutes. Strain through a cheese cloth-lined strainer into a large measuring cup, or bowl. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Yields about 4 cups
