Think about the second hand of a Rolex watch. It moves effortlessly around the face of the watch, without stops or pauses like a “normal” second hand, or a digital second hand. The Rolex second hand is a perfect illustration of what Analog—or circular—breathing looks like. Air is constantly being inhaled, and exhaled, with no “holding of the breath” at any point throughout the movement.
