On a patch of the I-15 freeway on our way to Utah I videotaped Max, my 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, huffing across the sand to a playful Bronson, just as the sun bid its last adieu behind the mountains. Fast forward three years to the same drive to Utah and the same patch of land, (sans canine nor man) and I had a very strong flashback. To that sand covered lot, the beautiful man and that puppy, I made this, a peace offering.
