I drove around L.A. today getting stuff for our little holiday gathering tomorrow night, and am starting to get excited; we haven’t had a party like this since the wedding.

I totally got a charge out of buying my first keg today—my inner frat boy coming out.

Our freezer is now packed to the hilt — just begging to be unloaded (like our Honda FIT, earlier).

Even though I desperately wanted to come home to address postcards and hang more Christmas lights, I forced myself to workout at Bodybuilders Gym in Silverlake. (BTW, I’m tweeting all my workouts and daily meals on Twitter, so if you want to follow me, just text “Follow PeaceLoveLunges” to 40404) I really like the “old skool” quality of that gym, the staff and managers are really friendly. They always decorate it pretty for each holiday. It’s what a neighborhood gym should be.
